This year for one week, from August 22nd - 28th, a portion of our online profits will be going towards the Flathead School Snack Program.
The Flathead School Snack Program was started in 2017 by parent Molly Thibert and her friends when they noticed a need after the Flathead County Schools were shut down for safety issues.
The snack program provides snacks in brown paper sacks on Mondays with 10 snacks in it (2 for each day). This year the snack program is starting a snack pantry at Kalispell Middle School.
"Most elementary schools have a mid-morning snack time. Some of the kids don't have snacks to bring from home, so they are not only hungry but also dealing with the fact that their situation is different from most of the other students in their class. Hungry kids cannot focus and they can't learn as well in the classroom." - Flathead Community Foundation
The snack program also puts a note or joke on all the bags.
