Fiona Crump- The Montana Scene’s Warehouse Manager.

How would you describe your day job to a child?

I make pretty presents and send them to people!

If you could choose one person to meet that you have never met before, who would it be?

Jane Goodall. She’s known for being the first person to study chimpanzees! I started my college career studying wildlife biology and because of her, I wanted to study chimpanzees. She’s my hero.

What is your favorite podcast to listen to?

I love true crime podcasts. A few of my recent favorites are Root of Evil, S-Town, and Minds of Madness.

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?

A Gorilla, because they are the best animal in the world. They're cool, strong, and amazing.

What is your favorite way to spend your free time?

Hanging with my kid, Zahara.

Where are you from? (How did you end up in Montana?)

I was born in Scotland and then moved to Salt Lake at a young age. However, I grew up most of my life in Michigan. But, I spent the majority of my summers in Lakeside because my mom is from here and then my parents retired out here, so I decided I wanted to be closer to family and made the move.

What do you wish other people knew about The Montana Scene?

We are a family business, not only in the fact it's run by a couple but that the workers/employees are like family too.

What might someone be surprised to know about you?

I am an extreme animal lover and one day I hope to have a full-blown animal farm.

What is your favorite food to cook?

Mac and cheese, always and forever, until the day I die.

If you could be any age for a week, what age would you be?

10, because you're not a teenager yet, so you're not quite so moody. You're fun, imaginative, and innocent.

What is your dream vacation?

To go to Rwanda in Africa to see the gorillas!

Sophie Sieh- The Montana Scene’s Whitefish Lead.

What is your favorite movie? Why?

Forrest Gump! I love how much history and entertainment they wrap into one movie. It’s  feel good comedy, action movie, and a love story all in one epic film!

If you could be any animal in the world, what animal would you be and why?

An owl. They have always been my favorite animal and Sophie means wisdom. Not only are they a symbol for wisdom, but I also think it’d be pretty cool to see the world from a different view!

What is your favorite binge worthy show right now?

Double Shot at Love with Vinny and Pauly! Trashy reality tv shows are my guilty
pleasure.

What is your favorite way to spend your free time?

I love playing with makeup and creating art when I have free time. I also love musical theater and this last winter got to perform as “Sophie” in Mamma Mia at the WTC!

Where are you from? (How did you end up in Montana?)

I’m originally from Minnesota/ Wisconsin. After I graduated from college, I moved down to Scottsdale, AZ and met my boyfriend. He use to summer up in Whitefish and his dad owns a place here as well, so we decided to try it out! He survived his first winter and I’m loving the small town vibes!

What was your first impression of The Montana Scene?

I visited last June before I officially moved here and The Montana Scene was the first place I bought a t-shirt from! Once I moved, I saw they were hiring and knew immediately it’d be a perfect fit!

How long have you been working on the Montana Scene?

Since September 2018 and I am now a lead at the Whitefish location!

What is your favorite book?

My favorite series is definitely Harry Potter! I’ve probably reread the whole series seven times! Another favorite book of mine is The Night Circus.

Are you a cat person or a dog person? Both? Why?

I’ve always been a dog person, but got my first cat a couple years ago and now I’m in love! He’s a cuddly fur ball and loves endless belly rubs!
