The Missoula Store

Continuing to expand across Montana, The Montana Scene Missoula store opened in July 2017. The store is in the heart of downtown and was just the community The Montana Scene was looking for. Melissa and Sean were excited to be a part of a rich downtown and great community.

The Montana Scene - Missoula loves being involved in community and downtown events. Each month they have a special for First Friday and they are gearing up for a holiday season full of fun. Be sure to follow them at The Montana Scene - Missoula if you're in the area to stay up to date!

 A Little Bit About Missoula

Missoula is settle at what used to be the bottom of Glacial Lake Missoula. Before any European settlers the lane was used by the Kootenai, Pend d'Oreille, Blackfeet, Salish and Shoshone tribes. The first European settlers came with the Lewis and Clark expedition. Missoula came from the Salish name for the Clark Fork River - the river that runs through the city.

Throughout the year downtown hosts Out to Lunch, Out to Dinner, Winter Brewfest, Garden City Brewfest, River City Roots Festival, Festival of Trees and the Parade of Lights.

Missoula is known for its fishing, floating and anything to do on the river! With the Clark Fork flowing through the town you are never short on outdoor adventures. With hiking trails, including the M trail, there are plenty of places to explore.

The Montana Scene location currently resides in the Montana Building on East Broadway. In 2019 the Missoula location will move to the new Missoula Mercantile. The Mercantile was built in 1877 and has been empty since 2010. The renovations have been in the works for a few years and we are so excited to be a part of the revitalization of this historic building.
